Littles (6 weeks- 3 years old)
Our heart is to give the top of the line care and most incredible experience for both children, as well as, the parents. We believe that a relationship with Jesus can begin at an early age. During your infant and toddler’s time in FLCKids we will start with repetitive Bible verses and simple Bible songs to build their Biblical foundation with the Lord.
Big Kids (4 years old – 5th Grade)
Our children aged 4 and up join everyone in the sanctuary for musical worship and are then dismissed to their classrooms where we will teach the children Bible stories and have interactive activities to reiterate God’s amazing love and grace for them. Our main objective for this age is know that they can have a relationship with God, our Heavenly Father, and that He loves them very much. This develops into a deeper understanding of the Bible, prayer, worship, and community as the kids enter into the larger classroom! We engage them with games, crafts, videos, teaching, and hands-on training where THEY get to pray and lead!
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Will my child be safe?
ABSOLUTELY, all FLCKids volunteers are background checked and screened before they are able to serve. We also have security personnel who monitor the entire campus.
What if my child has been sick during the week?
Your child must be fever free and symptom free for at least 24 hours prior to attending a weekend service.
How do you communicate with parents?
Each month, you will receive an email newsletter with the themes and lessons your child will learn that month. You can also email children@freedomlifechurch.com or email Pastor Cheryl at cheryl.you@freedomlifechurch.com
Is my child with Special Needs welcomed?
Absolutely, Jesus says in Matthew 18: 5 “ And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me.” We want to welcome anyone and everyone the way Jesus does. As we get to know you and your family, we will customize a plan that works best for your child and then pair a dedicated and caring buddy with them. How and Where do I check my child in?
Every 1st Sunday of the month, the kids join us in the Sanctuary for service. We’ll provide activity sheets with a welcoming environment and amazing worship.
Every 2nd to 5th Sunday: 15 minutes before the service, you can check-in your child at the kiosk in the coffee bar area. One of our volunteers will be there to assist you.
4-year-olds to 5th graders share a time of family worship in the sanctuary and are then dismissed to class. Please make sure they are checked in before they come into the sanctuary.
Nursery (6 weeks to 3 years old) is open on the 2nd and 4th Sundays and your child can be brought up to class immediately on the 2nd floor on those Sundays after checking them in.
You can then pick your children up from the 2nd floor kids’ wing after the service.
